Alumni Fellows Program
Call For Nominations
Recognizing Lifetime Professional Leadership and Accomplishment.
Purpose: The purpose of the Alumni Fellows Program is to stimulate greater activity and identify between eminent alumni, the University and greater Milwaukee community. Also, to add a dimension to the academic curriculum not otherwise available in the traditional college classroom through close contact among prominent alumni, undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and University administration.
The Program: The Alumni Fellow title is a permanent, lifelong designation conferred by the UWM Foundation, Inc. The Alumni Fellows Program recognizes prominent and outstanding individuals who demonstrate leadership and accomplishment in their fields. Further, the program facilitates the sharing of insight, expertise and knowledge between the recipient, students, faculty and administrators through informal contacts and presentations on campus at the various colleges, schools or units.
Nominations: Annually, the UWM Foundation Alumni Activity Committee will invite members of the university community to submit nominations for the designation of UWM Alumni Fellow. The committee anticipates that the nominees will be among the most illustrious individuals to have earned degrees from UWM. A selection committee will name one or two persons each year as UWM Alumni Fellows.
Deadline for Nominations: Please E-mail completed nomination materials to the UWM Foundation Alumni Activity Committee, c/o Patrick Kessenich, Office of Development and Alumni Relations, at kessenic@uwm.edu by Friday, April 27, 2012.
