Student Administrative Assistant Part-Time
The UWM Foundation’s mission is to support the educational, literary and scientific endeavors of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee by receiving, managing and distributing gifts to benefit the University’s students, faculty, programs and community. In addition, the UWM Foundation provides leadership, oversight and direction to its affiliated corporations, the UWM Real Estate Foundation and the UWM Research Foundation.
In order to continue its growth, the UWM Foundation is seeking a part-time, student Administrative Assistant. This individual will report directly to the Manager of Administrative Services and Human Resources. The individual chosen will assist the administrative department with a variety of duties such as sending gift receipts to donors, drafting letters and correspondence, distributing mail, scheduling deliveries, assisting with meeting preparation, etc. Opportunities to help with writing and graphic design projects exist.
Flexible schedule to work around classes with additional hours available during winter and summer breaks.
This individual will show attention to detail, have the ability to multi-task, be organized, have excellent written and oral communication and be proficient with Word and Excel. Experience with PowerPoint and Photoshop a plus.
